I painted these wall graphics for Whirly Bowl in Coloardo Springs last summer. Apparently I forgot to put them on my portfolio. Whirly Bowl just opened up last July. During their construction they contacted me to paint their logo in the bowling alley area as well as the Whirly Ball rooms. Each logo is approximately 20ft in length. Love this kind of work because it gets me out of the office and off the computer. Good stuff!
Hailcure LLC is a Texas based company that recently set up shop here in Colorado Springs. They asked me to design and paint a wall mural that would help catch the attention of folks driving by. Phase one of this project was to paint their logo and phone number on the left side of this 60x12ft wall. Assuming the weather will hold up, I’ll begin painting the rest of the mural which will include a mountain scene of Pikes Peak in the background and Garden of the Gods in the foreground, along with a lightning storm overhead. Looking forward to get the rest of this project underway. Thanks to Jesse and his team for letting me bring this project to life.
Here is a logo painting for a crossfit company in Colorado Springs. I did not design the logo. The painting was done back in early January, but I finally got around to taking some photos of the work since I was driving past their gym yesterday. Boy were those circles a real pain the butt to paint. Turned out pretty good though. Done with interior paint from Ace Hardware.
Earl’s Kitchen, an upscale restaurant chain out of Vancouver, BC Canada, asked us to paint some wall graphics in their downtown Denver location that would help direct folks to the upstairs bar and patio. I did not design the graphics, just did a bit of painting for them. We were painting on smooth tile so it took a bit of work to make sure the paint would adhere properly. The client wanted the restaurant graphics to have a distressed look so that’s what I did. Turned out pretty good, I dig it.
The folks at Breckenridge Distillery are working on opening their new retail store at the distillery in Breckenridge, CO. I painted their logo earlier this year in their new restaurant about 12ft wide. This time I was painting their logo 4ft wide but four times within the retail space. Two logos on the dark wall and two logos on the light wall.
The painting was done using a projector and some basic house paint from the folks at Ace Hardware.
By the way, if you haven’t been to Breckenridge Distillery or if you haven’t tried any of their spirits, I highly recommend it. Great flavor, high end flavor, and always goes down smooth. Awesome folks working their as well.
