Here is a logo concept for a new company out of Colorado Springs, Weaponized Armament. This is definitely the first time I’ve worked with anyone in this industry.
First Attempt
I didn’t want to come right out with an AR-15 for a logo, too expected. I wanted to keep it a little more subtle so on the first attempt I went with a scope type design. Simple and bold, just the way I like it.
Second Attempt
The client mentioned incorporating the W and A together so here’s the second attempt in a few different styles and color combos.
Third Attempt
The client decided he wanted to incorporate an AR-15 bolt. I like this idea because it’s less abrasive than just coming right out with a silhouette of an AR-15. The lettering is made from scratch, no dafont.com used on this one. So far we have three completely different style of designs here. Lets see what the client has to say about this one.
Fourth Attempt
Moving forward, the last design seems to be headed in a positive direction. This design seems to add a little more edge.

I recently put together a tri-fold brochure design for Quality Connections. They distribute a coupon magazine to over 700,000 homes in Colorado. QC recently partnered up with an online company called Max My Customers so this brochure is targeted towards promoting their new business adventure.

INSIDE
I finished another wall painting for Bingo Burger in downtown Colorado Springs. As you can see I used only the most advanced technological tools for drawing on the circles. A few well measured holes drilled into an old piece of wood I found and a state of the art 2H pencil. Add a little masking tape and sharp x-acto knife and bam, you have some well rounded circles ready for paint.
Process:
1. Masking: Mask off area with painters tape (make sure to use your dads Visa or Mastercard to press a nice seal so the paint doesn’t bleed through).
2. Seal the tape: Apply a very thin coat of paint around edges where masking tape was applied. This helps to create a good seal so that paint does not get underneath the tape.
3. Base coat: If the wall is not already white, I always apply two coats of white paint. Doing so makes the colors pop.
4. Background color: I apply 3-4 coats just to make sure the background is vibrant.
5. Masking circles: I used a long piece of wood with a holes drilled on the ends. The other end of the wood has a screw in it which is screwed into the center of the wall. Draw the circles, mask off the area with tape, redraw the circles over the tape and cut out the areas with an x-acto knife.
6. All graphics are projected and drawn on with a 2H pencil.
