This is part II of the Rip Vail stickers for Rip Wear co. out of Denver, CO.
I’m currently working on some Vail Ski Resort sticker designs for Rip Wear co. The design is going to be universal for all of Vail resorts including Vail, Breckenridge and Keystone. The snowboarder would be swapped out with a skier as well as the resorts name and logo. This would be a 2-color screen print so it keeps the production cost down. Pretty cool idea. Lets see if Rip Wear co. can get Vail to go for it!
Ripwear out of Denver, CO is looking for some classy Colorado patches to sell in various gift shops around Colorado. Here’s a few designs I came up with for the client.
A student from the Rocky Mountain Lineman School approached me with a new project. Him and his fellow school mates want to paint some lineman graphics on a 40′ x 8.5′ storage container. Sounds like a fun and challenging project. Here’s what I came up with for a design. This project should be going underway as soon as we get some nice weather here in Colorado Springs. Can’t wait!
Here’s a logo concept for a new client, Three Sisters Frybread co. I was pretty excited about this one, especially since it was a friend of the family and the fact that she’s going off on a new business venture. Her and the ladies in the family have been cooking up homemade frybread since the beginning of time. An old recipe that’s just to die for. I was honored that she asked me to put together a design for her. Her husband is giving her his old Winnebago camper to turn into her own personal food truck, super cool! I’m jealous because these old campers are hard to come by without dropping a pretty penny. Any who, onward with the design. I wanted to go with a vintage style design, it just seemed fitting. Kept a southwestern type feel with some warm colors, some Rockwell font and a minimalist corn stock. I also went ahead and mocked up the camper to give the client an idea of what could be. No idea how much money she’s investing in this little business but I’m going to do my best to make her look like a million bucks.
I recently put together a business card design to go along with List Logix new logo.
Here is a logo design for List Logix, they’re a realty company out of the Colorado Springs/Denver area. I decided to incorporated the two L’s together to create the logo. They wanted something super clean and simple, which is right up my alley. You can play around with the color combos all day long but I like the monochromatic feel. The touch of color is a nice addition as well. If you tried to analyze the design and add a bit of psychology to it you could say the middle square represents the logic within the design, but that just sounds like some weird hippy LSD nonsense. Lets just stick with the fact that it’s a clean simple design. Lets see what the client has to say.
Coin Squirrel is a company out of Colorado Springs, CO. They’re in the process of developing an application that allows consumers to save any leftover change from day-to-day purchases and store them within the app. The customer has the option to transfer the change from the app to their personal checking account or donate the money to a charity of their choice. Interesting concept.
Originally the client asked me to design a squirrel logo, however I felt that it was a bit overkill so I went with a more subtle approach. I think using the letter “q” as a squirrel tail is enough to get the point across to the audience.
