Took another stab at a consulting logo design for a Colorado Springs gent. This client is retired but got hired on as a consultant for a major tool retailer. Being that he’s retired he wanted to go after a real laid back style with a bit of Grateful Dead influence. Dig it! So here’s what I came up with.
A gentleman currently deployed overseas, asked me to design a helicopter logo for his recently acquired Apache unit. His current logo looked as you would imagine a Las Vegas style logo to look, extra cheeeeesy! So here’s what I came up with. Hope he digs it. I’ve designed a few military logos in the past, this is definitely one of my favorites. Thanks to Greg for giving me the opportunity to tackle this project.
Here is a consulting logo design I did for a client out of Colorado Springs.
Just finished working on a new illustration for Bleed Hockey. This design “Legs Feed the Wolf” is based off a quote from the 1980s USA Hockey Olympic coach Herb Brooks. Bleed Hockey is doing some re-branding which includes a new logo and a whole line up of cool new products. Bleed Hockey wanted to go after a 1960s style horror comic book theme. So here is one of the new designs we put together for them.
Just finished working on a new illustration for Bleed Hockey. This character “Swamp Goon” is based off the old comic book character “Swamp Thing”. Bleed Hockey is doing some re-branding which includes a new logo and a whole line up of cool new products. Bleed Hockey wanted to go after a 1960s style horror comic book theme. So here is one of the new designs we put together for them.
Lots more cool designs to come.
My fiance and I decided to get some tintype photos taken for our “Save the Date” mail-outs. This past summer we were poking around Salida, CO, checking out the local scene. We ran across Tim Brown’s Photography studio and thought what a great idea for some wedding invites. Tim was so awesome, very informative on the entire process of taking the tintype photos as well as some history on how chemists by chance stumbled across the effect of light on silver back in the early 1800s. We even got to go into the dark room to see the development process. Heck we even got play around with cyanide!!! This is the fixer for those of you who don’t know. Long story short, the experience was great and the photos turned out awesome. If you’re looking for some vintage tintype photos and in the area be sure to stop by Tim Brown’s Photography studio in Salida, CO. My fiance looks real grouchy in the third photo!
Just playing around with some weird stuff today. It’s a great day for a bike ride.
Cerberus Brewing wanted to incorporate the new Cerberus design we did for them into their delicious Elysium IPA. Here’s what I came up with. If you live in Colorado Springs, make sure you stop by Cerberus Brewing and have a pint of this beer, so stink’n good!
Just finished working on a hockey logo design for the 2018 Hockey Mountain High tournament in Aspen, CO. We went with a vintage patch style design for this logo. We didn’t want to pound out this design with too much flare. Instead we focused the design around the the big mountain Rockies. Aspens junior hockey program uses a forest green and gold for their team colors so I figure that’s the color palette they’ll go with for this design. Clean and simple tw0-color print. It’s gonna look pretty good on some new tees.
