Just finished mocking up a burrito logo design for Colorado Springs company Mr. Burrito y Mas. This gentleman came to us after the first graphic designer he hired failed to meet his expectations. Being that this market seems to have a younger demographic, we wanted to give this logo a cool vibe, so we threw in some shades and a loud color palette. We kept is simple and bold just like all our work. We like the idea of mixing around the color palette. It still maintains brand recognition while allowing for versatile applications on different backgrounds. Dig it!
Just finished putting together an academic consulting logo concept for Cardinal Academic Consulting out of Fox Point, WI. The client and I loosely discussed some ideas, but she wasn’t stuck on any particular design style so I just winged this one. I always mock the logo up on a few applications. This helps give the client a better visual of how the logo will actually look as opposed to staring at a flat PDF with a white background.
Here is a business card design I put together for Asphalt Advanced Services in Colorado Springs. These will be printed on a 16pt silk card with a matte finish. They’l have 6mm rounded corners and a Raised Spot UV on the front logo.
Here is a revised asphalt logo concept for “Asphalt Advanced Services”. After reviewing our initial design, the client had some new ideas, so we put them to work. The standard color palette for this industry is yellow and black, but we wanted to play around with some other ideas just to see if they would work. Personally I still like the yellow and black or the yellow and navy, it just seems to fit better. Here’s what we came up with.
Here is an asphalt logo and branding design for Colorado Springs company “Asphalt Advanced Services”. I’m pretty sure their original logo was designed on Wix or a similar platform. Long story short, it was due for an upgrade. Here’s what we came up with.
Working on some color variations for “Blues Natural Pet Market” logo. Overall the client is happy with the dog logo design, just fine tuning some minor details.
Took it easy today. Spent a couple hours putting together this Wood Duck coffee mug design. No intentions, just having a little fun in the office.
A friend of mine just moved here from Maryland because she purchased a franchise new to Denver. The company is Soldierfit, and they’ve developed a military themed crossfit gym that’s aimed at helping users achieve their personal goals. Maria asked me to paint their logo on a 14x60ft wall before their grand opening. As always, we were very crunched for time on this project, but managed to get it done just after Thanksgiving. Turned out pretty good I’d say.
Hailcure LLC is a Texas based company that recently set up shop here in Colorado Springs. They asked me to design and paint a wall mural that would help catch the attention of folks driving by. We decided to incorporate Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak into the design. Here is the completed project.
Painted some wall graphics in Denver for a hail company. These guys just opened up shop and wanted to promote their services to potential customers driving by. We kept this design pretty simple and bold. Nothing fancy, just wanted to get the important information across.
