Hailcure LLC is a Texas based company that recently set up shop here in Colorado Springs. They asked me to design and paint a wall mural that would help catch the attention of folks driving by. Phase one of this project was to paint their logo and phone number on the left side of this 60x12ft wall. Assuming the weather will hold up, I’ll begin painting the rest of the mural which will include a mountain scene of Pikes Peak in the background and Garden of the Gods in the foreground, along with a lightning storm overhead. Looking forward to get the rest of this project underway. Thanks to Jesse and his team for letting me bring this project to life.
A couple came to me with a concept for an international soccer camp called “Ballgame”. The lady is from Germany and her husband is from Brazil. Both are professors who just happened to be working temporarily at Coloardo College in Colorado Springs. They were looking for a soccer logo and wanted to incorporate a particular jaguar that was native to Caue’s homeland. Here’s what I came up with.
Made some changes to this army logo design. I also added some more color options for the Apache helicopter logo design.
Here is a horseshoe logo design for MC Horseshoeing out of Penrose, CO. This client works on a ranch training horses and specializing in custom horseshoes.
Just finished working on some new granola packaging labels for Snowberry Bakehouse out of Colorado Springs. Sort of has a grandma wallpaper feel to it. Dig it!
Took another stab at a consulting logo design for a Colorado Springs gent. This client is retired but got hired on as a consultant for a major tool retailer. Being that he’s retired he wanted to go after a real laid back style with a bit of Grateful Dead influence. Dig it! So here’s what I came up with.
A gentleman currently deployed overseas, asked me to design a helicopter logo for his recently acquired Apache unit. His current logo looked as you would imagine a Las Vegas style logo to look, extra cheeeeesy! So here’s what I came up with. Hope he digs it. I’ve designed a few military logos in the past, this is definitely one of my favorites. Thanks to Greg for giving me the opportunity to tackle this project.
Here is a consulting logo design I did for a client out of Colorado Springs.
My fiance and I decided to get some tintype photos taken for our “Save the Date” mail-outs. This past summer we were poking around Salida, CO, checking out the local scene. We ran across Tim Brown’s Photography studio and thought what a great idea for some wedding invites. Tim was so awesome, very informative on the entire process of taking the tintype photos as well as some history on how chemists by chance stumbled across the effect of light on silver back in the early 1800s. We even got to go into the dark room to see the development process. Heck we even got play around with cyanide!!! This is the fixer for those of you who don’t know. Long story short, the experience was great and the photos turned out awesome. If you’re looking for some vintage tintype photos and in the area be sure to stop by Tim Brown’s Photography studio in Salida, CO. My fiance looks real grouchy in the third photo!
Just playing around with some weird stuff today. It’s a great day for a bike ride.
