I spent all of last week working on a logo painting in La Junta, CO for Tivoli Brewing co. The industrial building was 100x20ft and the logo ended up being 42x14ft. I started off by masking off the perimeter with 1″ painters tape, then the horizontal lines for the top and bottom of the logo and tagline. Once the sun went down I used a projector to display the image onto the wall. From there I made some registration marks for each letter and in the morning I masked off each letter with 1″ painters tape. And then lots of painting! Two coats of primer and three coats of color. Working on corrugated steel was quite a pain in the butt. Turned out great and the clients were stoked!
