The gentlemen over at The Home Front Cares, asked me to put together a new logo design for their military veteran owned non-profit organization. Their original design was definitely in need of an overhaul. They wanted a fresh look that strongly represented the new direction the company was headed in. After brainstorming on some ideas, we decided to go after a vintage 1940s style theme for this logo concept. Along with the logo design, this included developing WWII type graphics to build on the theme. Very excited to be working on this project. Shawn and Tony have great vision for the direction of this organization. Looking forward to seeing where this project goes.
Painted some wall graphics in Denver for a hail company. These guys just opened up shop and wanted to promote their services to potential customers driving by. We kept this design pretty simple and bold. Nothing fancy, just wanted to get the important information across.
Two Colorado Springs business partners came to me because they were looking to branch away from their corporate real estate jobs and venture off on their own. How exciting! They were in need of a real estate logo design and brand/identity package for their new project, and prompt. In fact they needed a 24 hour turn-around time. Not to rush the project but… Luckily I just happened to have some free time towards the end of this week. They weren’t 100% on the design concept, but they did have some sketches, which gave me some insight into where their heads were at. Being that they weren’t set on anything in particular, I had some creative freedom for the project. Here’s what I came up with for the Colorado Springs real estate logo design.
Here is coffee truck logo design for a gentleman out of Colorado Springs. Despite the fact that the coffee world is an ever growing business, and competition is fierce, I think the creative brain behind Frantic Nomad Coffee Company is on to something pretty cool and unique. Since his life is built around the love for the outdoors, and all the adventurous activities that come with it, he decided to tackle the outdoor adventurists market. He and his VW bus will be hitting the road and setting up shop at events like downhill mountain biking, rock climbing and kayaking. Serving up a hot cup-o-joe to all those adrenaline junkies out there. Pretty cool concept! Super excited to help Jason out with his project. I love seeing those tiny ideas manifest themselves and come to life.
Just playing around on the computer today. Here’s a 1965 Volkswagen Bus illustration, just for fun. These are still a work in progress. I’m thinking I’ll add in some sort of background scene in there. Look’n pretty good so far though.
Just whipped up a new logo design for Cerberus Brewing out of Colorado Sprigns. This logo design is for their Mountain Juice Hazy IPA. Pretty tasty I must say. And the design is nice too.
Every year I design the All Colorado Beer Festival poster. This event is run by a non-profit that donates a tremendous amount of money to local charities. So I donate my time by designing their posters, tees, and promotional material. Here’s what I came up with.
Here is a hippo logo design for a company out of Colorado Springs. These guys design and manufacture skylight protection covers for homes. Here’s what I came up with.
Cerberus Brewing asked me to design a new logo for their brand. They wanted to go with a full dog this time, as opposed to just the head. During the brainstorming process, I started thinking about Black Label Society and how their band logo embodies that old biker gang style. Something you’d see on the back of a leather jacket. Rough and tough and full of piss and vinegar. the design, not Cerberus’s beer, their beer is great. Here’s what I came up with.
A couple Fort Carson brothers came to me with an idea about starting a small business here in Colorado Springs. They were essentially rebuilding old dirt bikes to new condition specs. They would also be working with the VA in some way. So they asked me to design a motorcycle logo for their new venture. The company name was going to be Death Grip Motorsports. Here’s what I came up with.
