Here is a fishing lure logo design for Australian company ITH (in the house) jig heads. These guys have developed a weedless fishing lure that is designed to be thrown directly in the trees without getting hung up on anything. The client wanted to incorporate the Bimini Mangroves into the fishing logo. I definitely found this logo to be quite challenging initially: Drawing the roots of a tree and trying not make them look like an octopus or a jumbled mess, on top of trying to make the tree not look like a logo for an orchard. I did think it was important to show the top of the tree simply to help explain to the audience what it is they’re looking at. The icon I created simply hints at the mangroves rather than being an exact representation of them. Fishing lure logo design by Hi-five Design.
