A new business to Colorado Springs contacted me about designing a plant logo for Plant and Polyp Aquariums LLC. The owner originally wanted to incorporate the rocky mountains. However, being that they’re quite over used here in Colorado, I recommended going with a simpler and more direct approach. Plus I find that using only one or two elements typically makes for a stronger design. So here’s what I came up with for their plant logo. The owner did go with a different color palette than listed below. We added a bit of color to the coral polyp, but I do like this monochromatic feel a bit more.
